The Hourglass Journey
Elite Fit & Wearing Guide
The Elite Waist Cincher provides our highest level of structured compression. Finding the correct size and breaking it in properly is essential for your comfort and transformation.
Step One
How to Measure for Elite
Because the Elite cincher features 27 memory steel bones and an extended 39 cm length, accurate measurement is crucial. Do not rely on your standard clothing size.
Find the correct position
Do not measure at your natural waistline. For the Elite cincher, measure approximately four fingers above your navel. This is the point of maximum compression for the front-U bust-support design.
Measure correctly
Measure in the morning before eating, if possible. Keep the measuring tape relaxed against your skin — do not pull it tight. Breathe out naturally and record the measurement in centimetres.
Step Two
The Elite Size Chart
Match your measurement (taken four fingers above the navel) to the chart below.
| Size | Recommended Waist (cm) | Recommended Waist (in) | Length (Side) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2XS | 55 – 65 cm | 21.5 – 25.5" | 39 cm |
| XS | 65 – 75 cm | 25.5 – 29.5" | 39 cm |
| S | 75 – 85 cm | 29.5 – 33.5" | 39 cm |
| M | 85 – 95 cm | 33.5 – 37.5" | 39 cm |
| L | 95 – 105 cm | 37.5 – 41.5" | 39 cm |
| XL | 105 – 115 cm | 41.5 – 45.5" | 39 cm |
| 2XL | 115 – 125 cm | 45.5 – 49.5" | 39 cm |
The Elite cincher features a 39 cm extended side length and a 29.6 cm front center length. Ensure your torso can comfortably accommodate this extended coverage.

Before You Begin
How to Put On Your Elite Cincher
Because of the 27 steel bones and 39 cm length, putting on the Elite requires a slightly different technique than standard cinchers.
-
1
Start with the cincher open
Hold the cincher with the hook panel facing you. Wrap it around your torso so the hooks are at the front, centred on your abdomen.
-
2
Align the Front-U
Ensure the Front-U curve sits directly beneath your bust to provide lift without pressure. The extended 39 cm length should cover your entire midsection down to the lower abdomen.
-
3
Fasten from the bottom up
Begin with the lowest row of hooks first, then work upward. This helps smooth the fabric evenly and manages the high compression level.
-
4
Start on the loosest row
Even if you are experienced with waist training, always use the outermost (loosest) row of hooks for your first few wears of the Elite to allow the 27 bones to mold to your body.
-
5
Check the high back
Run your hands along the back to ensure the extended back panel sits flat against your body with no gaping.
